IPL T20

People watch cricket
for entertainment. They like frequent fours, sixes and the regular fall of wickets. And the IPL has provided them the best mode of entertainment in cricket- The T20.

The 3rd season of the Indian Premier League's T20 tournament is running successfully in India. People from all parts of the world are watching.

Players are being sold for crores and crores of Rupees. India has been divided into 8 parts (and even more parts have been proposed). And each one has some foreign adulterations in it. They all are fighting among themselves to win.

Firstly, I ask – “even when Matthew Hayden hits a six for Chennai Super Kings against Anil Kumble (RCB), how and why people from Chennai love it?”

Some days back I saw two people arguing on the win of Kings XI Punjab over Delhi Daredevils.

The other negative aspect is that there is no place for a technically sound player now. The one who can hit the ball far stays in the team and the one can't stays outside.

The T20 format of cricket is the worst format of cricket, I think. Except entertainment it provides nothing. The T20 format has deteriorated the quality of cricket. I do not think this form of game is going to last for a long time.

  2. i agree with ur views on T-20 format but at the same time i hv a ques in context to ur ques regarding the teams that "why do u love ur house or say ur native place or india than any other's house or any other country". its completely an inner feeling. It doesn't matter who is playing for ur team. and one more thing.. u said about dividing india into 8 parts then by questioning about hayden playing for chennai though he is of other country u r dividing no matter what in some sense..

  4. your work is excellent & appreciable. this is not a good format to judge a technically correct player. this is a worst phase of cricket not excellence of cricket. good work.
